One of New Zealand’s largest privately owned furniture and whiteware retailers is looking for a Sales Professional to join their team in Gisborne. They have stores across Aotearoa, and their people are the heart of everything they do.

This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, helping customers find the perfect furniture for their homes, maintain up-to-date knowledge of current furniture trends, process transactions accurately and follow up with customers on potential leads, special orders, or post-sale inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships.

- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the furniture industry - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Strong ability to build rapport with customers - Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets - Proficient in computer systems and point of sale software - Knowledge of furniture materials, finishes, and construction techniques - Must be able to work on weekends - Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check - You will need to write a cover letter, outlining your interest in the role and what skills you will bring to the role.
