Automotive Mechanic

Position Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The successful applicant will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles to a high standard of workmanship, ensuring customer safety and satisfaction at all times.

Key Responsibilities: • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles efficiently and accurately • Perform diagnostics using appropriate tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults • Complete Warrant of Fitness inspections (if certified) • Road test vehicles to ensure repairs are completed correctly • Maintain accurate records of work carried out on job cards • Keep the workshop clean, tidy, and safe at all times • Communicate clearly with customers and team members regarding vehicle issues and required repairs • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies

• Trade-qualified Automotive Mechanic (Light Vehicle) • Current WOF inspector certification preferred but not essential • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude • Valid driver’s licence- Full Class 1 • Clear Pre-employment checks
