We have two roles available within our modern Acute Crisis Respite service, an alternative environment focussed on wellbeing and connection, available at our 6-bed Mental Health & Addiction Service in Tawa.
Together our ‘Whatever it takes’ attitude, encourages support staff to co-create a peaceful and reflective journey with our guests in an inviting home-like environment
As part of our acute respite service, you will play a key role in empowering individuals to live fulfilling, connected lives within the community.
This role prioritizes mental health and overall well-being, while fostering strong whanau connections.
You will be part of a team that embraces a ‘whatever it takes’ wairua and spirit, delivering personalized care with compassion and dedication.

Job Requirements
• Ideally, you will have or be working towards a Level 3 or 4 NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing. • However, we welcome applicants who are committed to obtaining the necessary qualifications. • Compassionate, empathetic, and calm with excellent communication skills. • Must have a current NZ Full Driver Licence • First Aid Certificate (or the willingness to obtain one). • Must be able to pass a Ministry of Justice check and be drug-free.

- Role 1: Awake shift 11:00pm – 07:30am, Friday to Monday Role 2: Awake shift 11:00pm – 07:30am, Tuesday to Saturday (40 hours per week)
