We are looking for an experienced and motivated Welder Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Christchurch. This is a full-time position ideal for someone with a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, who takes pride in producing high-quality work and contributing to a growing business.

Key Responsibilities: -Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately fabricate and weld metal components and structures -Operate various welding equipment (MIG, TIG, and stick) to produce clean, strong, and precise welds -Fit, cut, and assemble metal parts to ensure secure and accurate joins -Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency -Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and develop practical solutions -Comply with all health and safety regulations and adhere to quality control procedures

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For: -The ability the pass a drug test & MOJ check -Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator (tickets not necessary), ideally within the Trades & Services industry -Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications -Proficiency in using a range of welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders -Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality, accurate work -Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and project goals -A strong commitment to health and safety, with a proactive approach to risk management
