Nightfill Manager & Supervisor

About the role: Night-Fill Manager As the Night-fill Manager, you'll lead a team that keeps the store stocked, tidy, and ready for trade each morning. You'll take the lead - planning the shift, managing stock movement, and making sure every shelf is filled with care and efficiency. In this role, you'll: • Coach your team through overnight shifts while setting high standards for pace, accuracy, and presentation. • Create a positive, people-first environment where great teamwork and great results go hand in hand. • Manage rosters, breaks, and nightly operations to keep things running smoothly. • Support team development and performance with clear expectations and day-to-day leadership. • Shift hours: Midnight finish. About our Night-fill Supervisor & Morning-fill Supervisor Roles: As the Night-fill or Morning-fill Supervisor, you'll help guide your team through busy shifts, keeping stock flowing and shelves looking sharp. You'll be across the detail, ready to jump in wherever needed to keep the store well-stocked and customer ready. In these roles, you'll: • Be hands-on across the shop floor, supporting staff, solving problems, and helping the team stay on track. • Support the team with day-to-day leadership, helping maintain pace, accuracy, and great presentation. • Be a go-to for questions, guidance, and support during busy trading period.

Candidates must be willing to undergo a Ministry of Justice check and pass a pre-employment drug test. Preferred candidates will demonstrate a strong community focus and uphold family-oriented values.

We're after experienced grocery leaders who bring energy, structure, and accountability to their teams. Ideally, you'll: • Have proven experience in a similar department leadership, 2IC or supervisory role (preferably in a supermarket or FMCG setting) • Be confident managing staff, stock, suppliers, and compliance requirements. • Know how to create a team culture built on trust, performance, and service. • Be well-organised, approachable, and calm under pressure. • Understand the importance of stock control, presentation, and customer expectations.
