As the Seafood Manager, you'll take the helm of a department that's focused on freshness, teamwork, and making every interaction a fin-tastic one. You'll lead daily operations with a sharp eye for food safety, supplier coordination, and team development - delivering a seafood offer that's trusted, well-presented, and customer-ready. Whether it's managing stock, supporting your team, or keeping compliance on point, you'll be the steady hand that keeps things flowing.
Job Requirements
What we're looking for:
Candidates must be willing to undergo a Ministry of Justice check and pass a pre-employment drug test. Preferred candidates will demonstrate a strong community focus and uphold family-oriented values.
We're after a confident leader who brings structure, accountability, and a strong customer focus to their team. Ideally, you'll: • Have proven experience in a similar department leadership role (preferably in seafood or fresh food retail) • Be confident managing staff, stock, suppliers, and compliance requirements. • Understand the importance of food safety, traceability, and presentation. • Be well-organised, approachable, and calm under pressure. • Know how to build a team culture based on trust, performance, and service.
- Days of work
- Role will include working either a Saturday or Sunday shift & start dates will be staggered in the lead-up to October opening. (40 hours per week)
