Cleaner

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our store clean, safe, and welcoming for both customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities: - Sweep, mop, and sanitise store floors to ensure a clean and safe shopping environment - Clean and restock toilets and staff facilities regularly - Wipe down high-touch surfaces and remove rubbish as needed - Maintain the cleanliness of store entrances, trolley bays, and outdoor areas - Spot-clean any spills in food and chiller sections promptly - Sanitise trolleys, baskets, and other shared equipment - Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and report any hazards or maintenance issues

- Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not always required). - Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment. - Ability to follow health & safety procedures. - Good time management and ability to work independently. - Comfortable with physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting). - Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic. - Able to communicate clearly with supervisors and team members. - This role is suited to someone who lives local to Paraparaumu area. - Must be able to pass a Police Check and Drug Test. - Must have an updated CV at the time of application.
