Handyperson

A well-established Manukau-based employer is seeking a reliable and skilled Handyperson to carry out a variety of general repair and maintenance tasks across residential or commercial properties. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is practical, versatile, and takes pride in quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: • Perform general maintenance tasks including fixing leaks, replacing tiles, and basic plumbing and electrical repairs • Carry out painting (interior and exterior), carpentry, drywall repairs • Repair and maintain doors, windows, locks, and various structural fixtures • Pressure wash (water blast) building exteriors and outdoor installations • Install appliances, equipment, and fixtures such as shelves, sinks, lighting, etc. • Assemble furniture and household or office items • Provide landscaping and grounds maintenance services • Maintain gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas • Perform seasonal yard work and general property upkeep To apply send your updated CV to Sene.Johansson003@msd.govt.nz, with the job ID 22843142 in the subject line.

• Proven experience in general maintenance or a similar role • Good knowledge of tools, materials, and repair techniques • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively • Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying tools and materials • Flexible and willing to take on varied tasks as required • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethics • Good understanding of safety protocols and legal requirements in New Zealand • Clean Class 1, own vehicle
