Trainee Fence Installer

A local business have an opportunity to join their team as a trainee Fence Installer. They specialise in installing wooden, steel, aluminum panel , and chain-link fences- mostly commercial but residential as well.

In this role you will learn how to: 1. pickup any materials needed. 2. drive Company vehicle and team mates to the site. 3. set up at site signage and do inductions . 4. mark-out area for fence posts. 5. dig as per required depth. 6. mix and concrete posts. 7. instal fence as required. 8. finish job & cleanup afterwards.

While no experience is required, any of the following attributes will be an advantage: -Non-smoker -Knowledge of electrical and mechanical tools -Experience or knowledge in civil works & concrete mixing -Site Safe passport -Digger driving experience

This role is offered under a '90 Day Trial' contract.

1- Have a Full Class 1 driver licence in order to drive your teammates in the Company vehicles. 2- Have your own car to get to the depot in Papatoetoe - being dropped off/taking public transport is not an option. 3- be drug free to pass regular random testing. 4- Any criminal convictions are to be disclosed and will be considered case by case. 5- be fit and healthy enough for the tasks described, with no health conditions to prevent them safely carried out.
