Senior Administrator (Maternity Leave Cover – 12 Months) Small, hands-on business looking for an experienced and dependable Senior Administrator to cover maternity leave for 12 months. The team is just two people – a civil construction specialist and an administrator – so you’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day admin and office tasks independently. You’ll be based in a large, open-plan office shared with another company. The directors of this company also work in the same office, but they are focused full-time on the other business. While you’ll be part of a small team, you’ll be in a social and supportive environment. About the Role: This is a varied and independent position where you’ll oversee office administration and job scheduling, working closely with the civil construction specialist to keep things running smoothly. Key duties include: • Accounts receivable and payable • Preparing and sending quotes and invoices • Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards • Handling emails and client communication • Booking in jobs and managing the schedule • General admin and office support What You’ll Need: • Previous experience in a similar admin/account’s role • Strong working knowledge of Xero • Good organisational and time management skills • Confidence to work independently and take initiative • A friendly, reliable, and proactive attitude • Experience with Fergus job management software is a bonus, but not essential What We Offer: • Flexible part-time hours (18–20 hours per week) • A relaxed and friendly work environment • Independence in your role with a helpful team around you • A shared office space that’s social but focused If you're a confident and capable administrator looking for a flexible, hands-on role, we’d love to hear from you. Job Requirements
