About this job
Participate in all winery operations, from fruit receival during harvest through to despatch of finished wine. • Performing general winery maintenance tasks including cleaning, maintaining equipment, water blasting, and waste management as required. • Maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to standard operating procedures with a proactive, hardworking attitude. • Operating pumps, forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and effectively. • Being available for shift work, extended hours and weekend work during the harvest period. • Assisting with training new vintage staff and potentially supervise shifts.
Job Requirements
Have a minimum of 2 vintages of relevant experience working in a winery. • A reliable team player with a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail. • Able to work independently and be open to learning, sharing ideas and growing within the team. • Health & Safety minded following all safety procedures, using proper PPE, incident reporting, etc • A reasonable level of fitness.
- Days of work
- Mon - Fri, 8am - 4:30pm. During peak vintage shifts will vary. (40 hours per week)
