About this job
Your tasks include, but are not limited to: - Setting and clearing tables - Welcoming guests and presenting menus - Taking and relaying orders to kitchen/bar staff - Serving food and beverages promptly - Opening and pouring drinks, including wine - Monitoring guest satisfaction and handling requests - Removing used dishes, glasses, and bottles - Processing payments using POS systems - Assisting with reservations and group bookings - Recommending menu items and wine pairings - Maintaining cleanliness of dining areas - Restocking condiments and supplies - Following food safety and hygiene standards - Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth flow of service - Assisting with reservations, preparing for group bookings or special events - Providing recommendations on wine pairings or popular menu items to enhance the dining experience - Reporting customer feedback or operational issues to supervisors when necessary
Job Requirements
- At least 6months of experience in same industry
- Days of work
- This is a split shift roster of 11am - 2pm then 4.30pm - 10pm All staff are rostered across 7 days (30 hours per week)
