Class 4 Truck Driver

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 4 Truck Driver to join a civil roading crew based in Papatoetoe. This role involves operating Class 4 vehicles for various civil and roading tasks. Work hours can vary between day and night shifts, and weekend work may be required depending on the project demands.
Key Responsibilities: • Operate Class 4 trucks safely and efficiently • Maintain daily vehicle checks and report any issues • Complete daily logbooks accurately • Communicate effectively with dispatch and on-site crews • Assist with general roading duties as needed • Follow all health and safety protocols
Job Requirements
• Full Clean Class 4 Driver Licence (essential) • Previous experience driving Class 4 trucks (required) • Civil roading experience (preferred) • Ability to work between day and night shifts • Weekend work may be required depending on project demands • Own reliable transport to and from the depot (Papatoetoe/Puhinui Road) • Physically fit and able to handle manual work if needed • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude • Must pass a pre-employment drug test • Criminal convictions considered on a case-by-case basis
