Truck Driver
About this job
• Drive a company truck to deliver chilled and frozen goods to clients. • Load and unload cargo in a proper manner. • Record cargo deliveries and ensure to maintain complete documentation. • Ensure to refuel the vehicle. • Manage the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle. • Report road incidents to the management. • Drive the truck following proper traffic laws. • Inspect trucks and record issues (if any). • Inform the management in case of any accident, and follow proper procedures in that case. • Maintain the log hours of all the activities. • Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel. • Plan routes using GPS system. Ensure the delivery of items to the clients within the proper timeline. • Maintain a positive attitude with customers and provide excellent customer service.
Job Requirements
• Valid NZ Truck Driver’s Licence (Class-2) or overseas Truck License with a clean driving record • Available to start as early as 6:00 AM. • Physically fit and capable of handling day-to-day driving demands • Reliable and available to work on weekends as required • Strong time management and attention to detail • Self-motivated, hardworking, and committed to delivering high-quality work • The candidate will be required to travel within the Auckland region and the cost of travel/fuel will be borne by the employer.
