Retail Assistant - Dairy

A Glen Innes based Dairy requires a Retail Assistant to work 30 hours per week either morning or evening shifts. Morning shifts start from 6 am and afternoon shifts start from 2 pm. The employer is keen to negotiate shifts with the successful applicant.

The role will include Greet customers when they arrive at the store and understand their requirements. Provide excellent customer service and create genuine experiences in the store. Interact with customers and accordingly recommend products as per their needs. Support and motivate team members to collectively achieve store goals. • Contribute to daily sales and KPI targets. Ensure that the store is maintained properly. • Stock and re-stack the products at the store properly, and keep items in their designated place. • Coordinate with suppliers and order stock to ensure that sufficient products are available in the store at all times. Taking payments from customers and accordingly doing cash reconciliation. Manage the check-out counter, scan the products purchased by each customer and accordingly inform them about the payment details. Other tasks as assigned by the owner of the store.

Able to lift and move boxes from stock room Concise & clear English Previous relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory Must be Flexible to work on weekends and late evenings Strong team player Good time management skills Physically fit to handle long shifts on foo Hardworking and committed Strong attention to detail
