Recycling E (Electronic) Product Technician
About this job
Our E Products Technician plays a key role in our operations, overseeing the intake, assessment, and prioritisation of electronics. This involves identification and testing of components for reuse, repair, recycling, or disposal, with a strong emphasis on maximizing the reuse and recovery of electronic items. Essential to the role is data recording, for programme evaluation and reporting to Local Councils and the Ministry for the Environment. The technician also nurtures positive relationships with team members, customers, partner agencies and the community.
Job Requirements
● Physically fit ● Organised and happy to tidy and clean ● Promote and comply with health and safety practices ● AS/NZS 3760-2010 test tag certificate (preferable or willingness to obtain) ● Highly organised, managing and prioritising workflow including workshop organisation ● IT essential Certificate 4 NZ2594 (preferable or willingness to obtain) ● Forklift Certification (NZ Class1 F endorsement) and driving license and experience (preferable or willingness to obtain).

- 30-40 hours per week. 5 days of the week. Some weekend work will be required. (30 hours per week)
