Commercial Cleaner

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Cleaner to join our team! This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across a variety of sites. You’ll be working in a range of environments — offices, facilities, and shared spaces — helping ensure they are clean, safe, and presentable at all times.

Key Responsibilities: • General day-to-day cleaning including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting • Deep cleaning tasks such as carpet and upholstery cleaning, strip and seal, and machine scrubbing • Window cleaning and building washes as required • Rubbish collection and removal across sites • Travelling between sites and covering for team members on annual or sick leave • Coordinating with the Supervisor/Manager to ensure cleaning products and supplies are well-stocked • Handling and using cleaning chemicals safely and correctly in line with health and safety standards • Reporting any property damage or maintenance issues discovered during cleaning • Following all cleaning, hygiene, and sanitation protocols as per company policies • Maintaining an organised and clean storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment • Assisting with reporting of cleaning activities as required by company policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For: • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is an advantage • Must hold a full New Zealand driver’s licence (travel between sites is required) • Knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling practices • High attention to detail and pride in completing tasks to a high standard • Reliable, physically fit, and able to work unsupervised or in a team • Good time management and communication skills • Must pass all pre employment checks, MOJ/Drug
