AOD Counsellor
About this job
A community-based abuse counselling service is seeking a qualified and compassionate AOD Counsellor to join their team. This permanent, part-time role involves working directly with clients impacted by substance use and abuse, supporting their recovery through therapeutic interventions.
Key Duties:
-Deliver individual AOD counselling and complete assessments
-Support and co-facilitate group addiction sessions
-Attend regular team meetings and contribute to care planning
-Collaborate with whanau and external services as needed
-Complete client records, reports, and administrative tasks

Job Requirements
-Minimum of two years’ experience in AOD counselling or a related field -Current DAPAANZ registration. -Full New Zealand driver licence - be able to pass drug test

- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Timing to be discussed. (28 hours per week)
