Kitchen Hand - Otorohanga

An Otorohanga based employer is looking for 2x kitchen hands, no experience required, however some experience is preferred.

- Cleaning kitchens, food preperation areas, and sculleries. - Cleaning cooking and general utensils used in kitchens and restaurants. - Transferring, weighing, and checking supplies and equipment. - Assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking, and preparing salads, savories, and sandwiches. - Packing food and beverage trays for serving Tidying up food preparation areas after they have been used. - Making sure that dishes/utensils are stored away properly. - Disposing of kitchen rubbish and food waste. - Washing kitchen linen. - Adhering to the company’s procedure for food hygiene and health & safety. - Ensuring that there are sufficient detergents for the efficient running of the dishwashing area.

NCEA level 1. Team player and ability to work competently under pressure. Reliable and flexible to change. Must be able to work across any shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Must be a fit, quick thinker, reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated. Must be able to pass an MOJ check.
