Plasterer's Assistant

This is a labouring role where you will be working with plasterers. Duties include: • Prepping work material, such as mixing plaster, sand, and other materials according to the plasterer's instructions. • Preparing surfaces, including cleaning and erecting low level scaffolding (if required). • Patching walls and applying filler to level surfaces. • Repairing and levelling exterior wall panels. Cleaning and tidying. • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including removing debris and waste. • Applying filler or plaster compound and levelling the surface to ensure it is smooth. • Carrying, loading/unloading materials, tools and equipment. • Assisting with the application of plaster (depending on the assistant's experience). • Any other reasonable task required by the site manager or team lead. Job Requirements
• 1 year of relevant hands-on labouring/hammerhand work experience. • Basic plastering and polishing skills are a bonus. • Willingness to learn. • Physically able to lift 20kg. • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. • A positive team player who contributes to a well run and respectful work environment.
