Woodville employer is seeking a Chef. Working closely with the Head Chef/Manager you will plan and prepare food based on the menu specifications to ensure consistent quality product and excellent quality cabinet foods to a high visual standard. Responsible for preparing/delivering catering orders in a timely manner, uses scales and measuring devices to ensure consistent product quality to maintain cost control. You will observe the proper use of all cooking and preparation equipment for safety reasons. Perform food preparation when necessary, such as chopping, slicing, dicing, mixing etc. Ensures food products are being delivered according to menu specifications, utilising recipes, and paying close attention to plate presentation guidelines. Always comply with our Food Control and upholding these regulations. Practice food handling sanitation and rotation, equipment cleanliness and basic kitchen etiquette. Stock take/ rotation required. Job Requirements
Work experience in food industry. Welcome qualified people in cookery and Certificate of Food Safety.
