Health Care Support Worker

This Winton based live-in care facility provides a range of support services for a variety of ages and needs. They are searching for a fulltime health care assistant to specialise in providing the one-on-one care services to their male clients (and all other patients as required). Experience is a bonus but passion for the duties and clients will be prioritised as full training will be provided. To be successful for this position you must be available to work to the required roster and be keen, reliable, and honest.

Duties include but are not limited to: • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning of patients. • Support patients with meals, including feeding where necessary. • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients. • Assist with the administration of medication under supervision (if trained and permitted). • Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff or senior team members. • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients. • Help with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers. • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. • Adhere to all health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding policies.
