Hotel Assistant

This position has been newly created and titled Hotel Assistant as the role is not a managerial one yet requires work in several departments.
The Hotel Assistant will start his or her day in the restaurant, later moving into room attending and potentially the laundry. Duties will include but are not limited to: • Setting up the buffet • Greeting and seating guests • Clearing and resetting tables • Helping cook if required, maintaining strict food regulations. • Rinsing dishes, loading, and unloading the dishwasher, clearing the buffet. • Making beds, cleaning bathrooms, doing dishes, dusting, and vacuuming. • Loading washing machine and dryer. • Fold and press linen and re stock housekeeping trolleys and pantries. • Reception duties if required.
Job Requirements
Experience in the industry is preferred but not essential. Flexibility in availability is required to be available for varying week day shifts and during weekends as and when required by the management. The willingness to learn is most important. Successful applicant will need to be able to secure their own accommodation after a couple of weeks of starting

- 32hrs pw off season/50 hrs peak Shifts: Reception: 7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm. Restaurant: 6am to 11:00am and 5pm to 11pm. (32 hours per week)
