Truck Driver - Class 2

Based in Hastings, we are seeking an individual with a class 2 license to perform waste collections throughout the Hawke’s Bay region. As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating a vehicle and equipment on board to ensure a safe and timely collection of our bin collection service. You'll also be required to keep accurate records and paperwork and undertake vehicle safety checks. We are looking to grow and develop our Drivers so with on-the-job training working alongside one of our operators. To be successful for this role you must: • Own reliable transport • Comfortable passing pre-employment police and drug test • A valid clean NZ Class 2 licence • Relevant driving experience of 2 years • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team • Physically fit and able • Relevant transport industry knowledge and experience a bonus • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Dedicated to achieving high standards of customer service • A Level of Mechanical aptitude
