Onehunga based furniture store is seeking a Sales Assistant join their team on a part time basis.

The role will involve selling different furniture including beds and couches. This involves understanding customer needs, providing product information, and completing sales. Responsibilities may also include maintaining product knowledge, processing sales transactions, and potentially assisting with displays or inventory management.

Part of the role will involve promoting the business by travelling to different venues so at least a restricted licence is needed to drive the work vehicle.

Job Requirements

Any previous sales experience would be an advantage, however the employer is willing to train the right candidate. Have good customer service and communication skills. Be able to work weekends. Have reliable transport to get to and from work and at least a restricted licence to drive work vehicle. Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and have a clear MOJ record. The ability to communicate in Samoan would be advantageous due to the customer base but is not a must have.

To be discussed with employer. Days and hours are Thursday to Sunday between 10am-3pm (15 hours per week)
