Truck Driver - Class 2

A leading provider of transport and logistics solutions in Mangere is looking for Class 2 Truck Driver.

The Role:

• To conduct deliveries and collections of freight as instructed and account for all items in your care using the systems and communications tools provided. • To assist in the warehouse/yard in the handling of freight (loading/unloading/sorting) enabling efficient and accurate movements through cross-docking • To handle all items of freight with due care and attention to the safety and security of the items, the vehicles carrying them, and the personnel involved. • To act as a representative of Walker Logistics is such a way that your actions will reflect that of a professional operator to enhance the company name in the marketplace. • Completing documentation relating to trips, such as logs, delivery dockets and time sheets. • Safely operate trucks to transport goods to various destinations. • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and proper maintenance. • Load and unload cargo

• Must have Class 2 - Medium Rigid Vehicle License. • Must pass Ministry of Justice check and drug test. • Minimum 6 month of experience driving Class 2 vehicles. • Physically fit as you would be required to load and unload the cargo. • Have own reliable transport. • Able to work 50 hours per week.
