Fill Assistants – Dry Goods New World Point Chevalier

We’re excited to announce that New World Point Chevalier will be joining the community later this year! With a brand-new store and impressive offering across butchery, seafood, bakery, deli, produce, grocery and liquor, we can’t wait to open our doors to the Point Chevalier community.

Applications are now open for Fill Assistants who are keen to work across our dry goods department. There are roles for early birds with shifts that start at 4:30am! There are also shifts available for day shift 8.30am to 5.00pm and Evening shift 4.30pm to 10.00pm.

Full-time & Part-time roles available Must be happy working one weekend day

The Role • Work closely with the inwards goods team to get stock from storeroom to shelf. • Ensure good quantity and range of products are available on our shelves. • Stock shelves/displays – ensuring stock is well merchandised and presentable. • Provide a high level of customer service and assist customers where needed. • Ensure high standards of cleanliness across departments. • Build relationships with the wider team and leadership to get the very best results. • Jumping into other departments to help when required.

What we’re looking for: • Ability to follow process and work both independently and as part of a team. • Ability to work on your feet and lift up to 20kg. • Eye for detail and pride in presentation. • A great working attitude and ability to interact with customers. • Reliable, honest and good team player.
