Mobility Taxi Driver
About this job
A Local company is looking for reliable taxi drivers to provide safe, friendly transport for our customers, including those with mobility needs such as wheelchair users. Responsibilities, but not limited to: - Safely and efficiently operate Mobility Vans, Vans or Cars in compliance with local traffic laws and company policies. - Provide transportation services to passengers ensuring their safety, comfort and satisfaction throughout their journey. - Assist passengers with boarding and alighting and accommodate their needs with patience and professionalism. - Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicles both inside and out. - Communicate effectively with passengers addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have. - Adhere to assigned schedules and routes ensuring punctual pick-ups and drop-offs. - Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper records of fares collected. - Report any vehicle maintenance or safety issues promptly to the appropriate authorities. - Provide support and assistance to passengers with mobility challenges as required. Job Requirements
to be successful in this role must have good communications skills and customer-focused attitude, and you will need to have: - a clean NZ Full Driver's License - a P Endorsement - a First Aide would be advantageous - and an LCP to operate the Hoist would also be beneficial - pass police check and drug free
