Restaurant Manager

A rare opportunity to play a key leadership role as a Restaurant Manager in an exciting pre-opening phase alongside an experienced leadership team to deliver exceptional dining here in Marlborough. You will take charge of day to day running of the venue, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional guest experiences. and a motivated, high-performing team. This is a hands-on, people-focused role suited to someone passionate about hospitality, service excellence, and team development. What you'll be doing: • Overseeing all day-to-day restaurant operations, including managing staff, inventory, and budgets • Ensuring the highest standards of customer service and food/beverage quality • Developing and implementing strategies to drive sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction • Analysing key performance metrics and making data-driven decisions to improve efficiency • Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment • Liaising with a range of stakeholders to support the overall business objectives

Your pay rate will range from $30 - $35 per hour depending on experience individual brings to the role.

What we're looking for:

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar senior hospitality role Strong operational management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities Proficient in financial management, including budgeting and cost control Thorough understanding of food safety, licensing, and other relevant regulations Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences Current Duty Managers Licence
