Yard Supervisor
About this job
This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of all yard activities, personnel, and our storage facilities; ensuring the efficient, timely and accurate movement of vehicles and equipment into and out of our yards contributing to the delivery of excellent customer service to all our customers within the strict time limits imposed by our Service Delivery Standards.
Job Requirements
Proven experience leading a team. Experience managing stock takes. Have a clean Class 1 licence and a safe driving record. Be able to work overtime when required to allow us to meet the demands of our customers. Background in Transport and Logistics and an understanding of loading and unloading processes within this industry Knowledge of MPI regulations. Hold a truck and forklift licence. Be fit and in good health. This is a physical job, and you will be working outside in all types of weather and environments. Understand the importance of Health and Safety and be committed to promoting this in our workplace. Have excellent communication skills and understand the importance of teamwork. Ability to multitask in this fast-paced environment Have an interest in training for other licence classes. Determination, are motivated and reliable
- Days of work
- Minimum 40 hours, Monday to Saturday. Extra hours on average up to 50-55 hours. (40 hours per week)

- $28 to $32 an hour dependant on experience
