Class 5 Truck Driver Heavy

An Onehunga based employer, looking for Truck Drivers – with class 5 driver licence. Duties include pre-flight checks, checking your truck before work and reporting any issues, loading and unloading – cars, machinery, farm equipment. Dealing with customers at pick up and drop off sites, liaising with your dispatcher and be Health and Safe conscious. We utilise electronic log-books and our dispatch management systems are also electronic ideally you will be competent using phone apps and technology. The purpose of the Driver role is to provide the most efficient and cost-effective transport solutions for machinery, containers, bulk freight, vehicles, and trailers throughout New Zealand. Providing the customers with excellent service and a can-do solution to their problems. A clean, full Class 1 to 5 licence and a safe driving record. A strong geographical knowledge of the North Island. At least 12 months driving experience. New Zealand experience preferred.
