We are currently seeking x2 Sawmill Labourers to join team on a full-time, casual contract.

Duties include stacking and grading timber, manual handling and a little bit of machine operation, general housekeeping and ensuring workstation/site is clean and tidy. Must be able to work well within a team environment, good communicator, follow instructions and have a strong focus on Health and Safety.

The successful candidates will be provided training and depending on performance, role could become permanent.

Job Requirements

- Fit and reliable as role is physically demanding and involves a lot of manual handling - Full Class 1 driver licence with reliable transport (or Restricted but in process of obtaining Full licence) - Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test - Any criminal convictions are to be disclosed and will be considered case by case. - Health and Safety conscious - Punctual, keen to work with a proven track record of good attendance - Be willing and able to get to Waipu by 6am daily. - Be willing to work 4 x 12 hr shifts per week.

Days of work
Monday to Friday Daily 6am – 6pm , 4 x 12 hr shifts between Mondays to Fridays. The 4 days will be rostered and may vary. (40 hours per week)
