Food and Beverage Supervisor

Hotel in Nelson looking for a Food and Beverage Supervisor. Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities Passion and commitment to delivering the highest level of food and beverage services • Effective management of the food and beverage operation whilst on duty • Oversee and manage a team of food and beverage attendants • Manage and co-ordinate the smooth operation of the restaurant, meetings and events • Supervise restaurant, bar and conference setups ensuring setup accuracy and cleanliness • Training of Food and Beverage Attendants, Baristas and Barmen on all procedures and service standards • Directing and observing Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and other laws and regulations • Liaise with all departments to ensure guest needs and expectations are being exceeded • Strong leadership and communication skills • Exceptional guest service experience • Hands on approach to your work and “can do” attitude • Hight attention to detail, immaculate time management skills, ability to multitask • Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of BePoz (POS) or similar POS System and Microsoft Office applications and reporting any abnormalities • Maintaining a high level of communication between departments at all times

Minimum Requirements: • A current Licence Controller Qualification • Previous experience in a Food & Beverage Supervisor role minimum 2-3 years • Minimum 1 year experience in supervising conference and events • Minimum 1 Year experience in bar operations • Solid understanding of POS (Bepoz)/similar POS system and Microsoft Office applications • Solid understanding and knowledge of F&B operations and products • A friendly smile and excellent communication skills • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and public holidays • Good grooming standard
