Cleaner and Kitchen Assistant - Helensville

A valued and varied cleaning, housekeeping, and kitchen assistant position has become available for a great team in Parakai - Home & Hospital! This is a varied role, offering a variety of duties to supplement this position. There are 2 roles available - 1 full time, permanent and 1 x Full time, 6 month contract. The role involves full time cleaning and kitchenhand duties with full orientation provided. Applicants must have a can-do attitude, be reliable, be able to work to cleaning/infection control guidelines, and have good time management. Some kitchen assistant and laundry duties are included in the role with cleaning and laundry in-service training provided. Ideal applicants will be fluent in both written and spoken English, and have a high standard of hygiene. Must be fit and have a strong back, and be able to work to time constraints. Applicants should also live within reasonable commuting distance to Parakai. Cleaning duties will include use of vax equipment, general housekeeping/cleaning, laundry, and kitchen machines.
