Planting - Kaimahi

A Te Kuiti based employer is looking for 2 Kaimahi to help with planting. This employer has worked hard marketing and researching their product to create quality, environmentally friendly products to supply to large businesses, nationwide and worldwide, the company’s vision is to continue to grow while also looking after their staff and creating a great working environment and team.

You will be required to have the following skills & attributes: - Be happy to work outdoors and indoors when required. - Be physically fit, hardworking, and reliable. - Be able to pass an MOJ check and drug test. - The ability to pivot and change roles as required as the company grows.

All though the following skills are ideal, they are not necessary, but people with these skills may have a stronger chance in getting this job: - Planting experience. - Knife handling experience. - Knowledge about how to work with native plants (taonga) with respect by following maori traditions.

This role is full-time Monday to Friday, transport is not essential, as the employer is happy to pick up staff from a pickup point in Te Kuiti. Work is based on varying different farmlands so travel will often be within a 30 minute radius of Te Kuiti, this may also change as the business grows.
