Forklift Driver / Digger Operator

Employer in Penrose is looking for Forklift / Digger Operator to join their yard and warehouse team. Employer says the role involves 80 percent Forklift and 20 percent Digger Operating duties. Duties include: •Receive incoming deliveries and direct truck drivers to appropriate unloading areas. •Operate forklifts, diggers and other machinery to unload, move, and position materials safely and efficiently. •Visually inspect incoming loads for compliance, contamination, or prohibited items. •Accurately sort, stage, and store different types of waste and recyclables in designated areas. •Load outbound trucks with processed or sorted materials for transport to third-party facilities. •Maintain clean and organized work areas within the yard, unloading bays, and storage zones. •Assist in the coordination of daily inwards and outwards goods flow to support operational efficiency. •Perform routine safety checks and basic maintenance on forklifts and yard equipment. •Communicate clearly with drivers, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth yard operations. •Support general yard duties including site upkeep, manual handling, and ad hoc tasks as required. •Work in all weather conditions and adhere to site safety and environmental protocols at all times.
