About this job

- The Truck Driver will operate a company truck, loading and unloading freight for deliveries to and from clients within the Auckland Metro Region and on some occasions to the Waikato Region. - Follow procedures involved in the receiving, transporting and delivery of mail and parcels, ensuring loads are adequately secured. - Conduct a daily vehicle check. - Inspect and maintain (where appropriate) vehicle supplies and equipment, such as fuel, oil, water, tyres, lights and brakes, to ensure that the vehicle is in proper working condition. - Carry out paperwork as required such as presenting and collecting documentation for freight loaded or delivered. - Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of inventory or billing statements, in accordance with company requirements. - The role incumbent represents the company in a professional manner with a view to increasing profitability and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

- Experience as a Class 4 and/or 5 Driver (at least 1 year) - Positive work ethic and service focused - Be able to confidently operate a smartphone for work purposes - Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekend work Be a team player
