Sales/Store Assistant – Liquor Store

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Sales/Store Assistant to join our Liquor Store

Location: Pukekohe, Auckland Hours: Rostered shifts Monday to Sunday, between 10:00 am – 9:00 pm, Minimum of 30 hours per week Pay Rate: $26.00 -$30.00 p/h Vacancy will close on 27/06/2025

Key Responsibilities: • Provide excellent customer service by assisting with product selection, advising on pricing, and processing sales transactions. • Operate the checkout, including preparing sales invoices and accepting various payment methods. • Receive, verify, and safely unload inwards goods; check items against delivery documentation and inspect for damages. • Accurately store stock in designated areas, including chiller rooms, and ensure shelves and displays are replenished, rotated, and well-merchandised. • Maintain and monitor inventory levels; re-stack and organise stock in the storeroom to ensure easy access and efficient stock control. • Drive the company vehicle to pick up supplies from vendors and deliver orders to customers and other store locations as directed by the Manager or Duty Manager. • Maintain store cleanliness and adhere to health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations. • Perform other general retail duties as required to support the smooth operation of the store.
