Dairy Farm Worker

Biddybid, based in Dannevirke, is a 450 cow dairy farm milking through a 36aside herringbone shed. There will always be 2 people milking in the shed. Miking twice a day morning 500-8am, afternoon 230-530pm Your jobs will include. Assist with milking as directed by the farm manager. Arriving on time to set up equipment. Dairy is always set up before cows arrive. Carrying out milking and teat spraying. Milking is completed to standards required, including all cows are milked appropriately, marked cows dealt with as per farm manager instructions. All cows are teat-sprayed properly before they leave the dairy. Hosing down yards and bail areas on the completion of milking. Cleaning and maintaining the farm dairy, plant and equipment, to the standard outlined by the farm manager. Assist farm to achieve continuous grade-free seasons, by: Helping to ensure only milk of the finest quality is presented for collection. Job Requirements
Experience in dairy farming, reliable and honest. Able to pass drug test. No accommodation is included.
