Winery Cellar Hand
About this job
Reporting to the Production Leader – Selaks Winery, Hawke’s Bay, you’ll be in the heart of the action where our award-winning wines come to life. • Following all safety procedures, ensuring proper PPE, incident reporting, etc • Harvest operations, including supervising, crushing and pressing • Assist with the cellar operations around blending, fining, clarification, preparation and despatch • Execute day-to-day cellar operations using SOPs and winery systems
Job Requirements
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in a winery or working harvest. • A reasonable level of fitness, as harvest requires 12-hour shifts, 6 days per week • A current driver’s licence, forklift certified preferred • A practical, organised mindset with good attention to detail
