Employer is looking for a full time permanent Orchard Coordinator to join their team.

Duties and responsibilities Orchards • Support the Orchard Performance team with planning of: spreadsheets and communication & inputting team planning information into data models • Lead the coordination of GAP and GRASP audits; working with key managers to ensure these audit requirements are well prepared for and documented in a centralised location. Ensuring all modules are ready for audit. • Coordinating Justified Approval (JA) process. • Support the orchard team to keep accurate training records and organise training where required. • Assist with prep for harvest and data entry during harvest

Spray Programme and Agrichemicals • Accurately enter spray diaries into Zespri portal and complete data entry & annual audits prior to harvest. • Support the Machinery Manager with administrative elements of Chemical Management hazardous substances • Stocktake administration • Update online inventory, ensuing all controls identified and put into action. Update safety data sheets and pass on to Machinery Manager

Assets • Issue fuel tags to all new staff • Timely administrative coordination for business fleet NZTA related matters • Registration renewal and RUCs purchases • Adding new vehicles to toll accounts • Work with Accounts Administrator for sold vehicles • Support Assets Manager

General Support • Complete assigned project work in the Orchard space • Complete administration in support of the leadership team

Health and Safety • Follow all Health and Safety procedures. Takes a proactive approach to keep self and others safe. • Actively contribute to the H&S programme by signing in, marking hazards, talking in toolbox meetings, raising safety concerns and following all safety rules or best practice guidelines. • Assist in the follow up and administration of H&S incidents

Other Duties • We actively support each other. As part of this position, you may be expected to complete tasks outside of your normal responsibilities. This may include work in other teams across the business.

Job Requirements

• Must be Proficient in MS Office applications or similar • Must have Excellent administration skills and a minimum two years admin experience • Experience working in horticulture, or agriculture is an advantage • Experience with agrichemicals or GAP/GRASP processes is an advantage but not required Must have a full class 1 driver license Must be able to pass police check and Drug test.

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience
