Despatch Coordinator - Quality Assurance

We are looking for a Despatch Coordinator with about 12 months experience to join our team in Hautapu. We are a state-of-the-art glass manufacturing business focussed on supplying high-quality products and exceptional service to our customers.

In this role, you will be primarily focussed on quality assurance, working with a high volume of fragile product. You will need to be able to ensure the accuracy of despatch documentation (checking onwards freight movements, checking labelling is accurate etc), perform first-off and random sample checks, problem solve issues as they arise, take impeccable care of handling glass products, and coordinate with the wider production team.

Our ideal candidate has around a year’s previous experience in high-volume logistics manufacturing, or a technical despatch role. We will also be looking for applicants that can show demonstrated experience with: • Quality control in a manufacturing operation (working knowledge of quality assurance systems and principles). • Despatch and manufacturing software. • Attention to detail and accuracy (highly valued). • Forklift experience (with appropriate license). • Scanning tools for product tracking. • Effectively managing time and being self-directed to meet deadlines. • Strong communication and teamwork. • Flexibility with tasks and working hours. • Analytical and quick-thinking problem solving.

1 year's experience in similar role. Forklift license. Full class 1 driver's license and own reliable vehicle - non-negotiable. Pass MOJ, Drug/Alcohol testing and ACC checks. Physically fit and healthy. Able to work shifts, and some flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays if/when required.
