Pizza Cook

Opportunity is based in Matamata, Waikato region Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas and side items following Pizza Hut recipes and procedures. Preparing a range of Pizzas as per customer preferences and under supervision of shift supervisor and management. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens and commercial food mixers. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food preparation areas. Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation and inventory tasks. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers. Take and package customer orders accurately and effectively . Occasionally deliver pizzas to customers, ensuring timely and courteous service. Comply with all health and safety, food handling, and hygiene regulations. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Skills and Experience: At least 6 months experience in a commercial kitchen. Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Good communication and customer service skills. A positive attitude and willingness to learn. Full driver’s licence is preferred for team members who may be required to deliver pizzas.
