We are seeking a Biodiversity & Reforestation Technician to support the ecological restoration of native habitats, including wetlands and forests. This role is key in delivering on our conservation goals through hands-on work, research, and ecological monitoring.

Key Responsibilities: Preparing and executing planting plans for plant species, locations and optimal planting positions contributing to wetland restoration and reforestation. Provide advice on conservation of the property ecosystem including wetland restoration, pest control and weed control, including monitoring and control of pest populations in key planting areas Assist with forest restoration including planting, data collection and seed collection Support surveying property ecosystems assessing diversity of various organisms providing research to our environmental programmes Conduct habitat evaluations and monitor erosion control

Job Requirements

You would need to be physically fit and enjoy working outdoors. Ability to drive off-road vehicles, together with a clean drivers license. Ability to get to travel independently to and from our farm location Full Class 1 Licence

Monday - Friday 7.00am - 5.00pm (40 hours per week)
