A mount employer is looking for a Directional Drilling & Civil operators to be part of growing civil construction team.
If you have experience as Digger/Drill operator who is reliable and safety conscious this job is for you! You will be responsible for operating civil machinery in a safe and efficient manner in support of our infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities: • Assist with setup, operation and support of directional drilling rigs • Carry out trenching, site clearing, and reinstatement work • Load and unload materials, tolls and equipment as needed • Work with drillers and ground crew to ensure accurate placement of underground services • Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance of machinery • Follow all health and safety procedures • Collaborate with team members, subcontractor’s and supervisors to meet project timelines
Looking for: • Proven experience operating diggers • Knowledge of directional drilling operations an advantage • Strong commitment to health and safety • Physically fit and able to perform manual labour when required • Reliable, punctual and a team player Hours/Rates • This is a casual position initially but could lead to fulltime permanent employment for the right person. • Hours to be determined – early starts and varied hours. Outdoor work in all weather conditions
Work will be on a variety of civil and utilities projects across the Bay of Plenty region. Supportive and safety conscious team environment. Qualifications and Experience is beneficial.
