Class 4 Driver
About this job
A Mount employer is seeking an experienced reliable and safety conscious Class 4 driver who will be responsible for transporting machinery and materials to and from work sites in support of our infrastructure projects. Work will be on a variety of civil and utilities projects across the Bay of Plenty region. Supportive and safety conscious team environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Operate and maintain truck • Transport and unload materials safely • Assist the team when on site when needed • Comply with all health and safety procedures • Complete daily vehicle checks and documentation
looking for: • Someone preferably with current NZ Class 4 drivers’ licence but Class 2 essential. • Experience in civil construction or similar industry beneficial • Good understanding of health and safety on-site • Reliable, punctual and a team player
Hours/Rates • This is a casual position initially but could lead to fulltime permanent employment for the right person. • Hours to be determined – early starts and varied hours. Outdoor work in all weather conditions
If you have a minimum of a class 2 license with experience who can move to a class 4 license we are interested in hearing from you too!
