Store Person - Takanini

Location: Takanini Hours of Work: Rostered shifts, Monday to Sunday between 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Our Storeperson will be responsible for keeping authentic Indian groceries and everyday essentials flowing into the rest of the store. Fresh produce, spices, snacks, and more

• Ensure products are correctly labelled, stocked, and displayed for easy customer access • Promptly restock shelves with items from deliveries or local suppliers • Contribute to achieving daily sales targets and KPIs • Pick up stock and essential supplies from local suppliers/markets as needed • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely inventory replenishment • Maintain store cleanliness and organisation throughout the day • Assist with store opening and closing duties, including securing premises and managing outdoor displays • Regularly visit local suppliers to procure fresh produce and stock • Receive, inspect, and organise incoming stock and deliveries • Conduct regular stock rotation and inventory checks (FIFO) • Assist in preparing customer orders (packing and labelling) • Report damaged or missing stock promptly to management

• Valid Full Class 1 Driver Licence (to operate company vehicle) • Ability to lift/carry up to 25 kg • MUST be available to work 7 days a week 9am - 9pm, including weekends and public holidays • English communication skills (speaking, reading, and understanding instructions) • Prior experience in warehouse or grocery retail is preferred, but not mandatory • No pre-employment drug testing or MOJ is required
