A community based employer is seeking a professional cleaner and 2 handy people. To be successful in this role you will need: Cleaner role: Good Communication , Good ethics, be honest and transparent and care for people and the environment, Hard worker, Self-motivated, self-starter Technical skills: Able to do a good job of deep cleaning of potential heavy mould infestations Computer literate (MS Office). There is career progression with this role which could lead to you owning your own business. Incentives paid for quality, efficient work and closed sales you generate yourself.
Handy person successful candidate will be: Honest and upfront, Able to communicate safely and compassionately with often vulnerable people from diverse backgrounds, ages, and ethnicities and encourage them to make positive behaviour changes, Proactive about talking to management about ideas, opportunities, or risks before they become issues, Able to work to complete an assigned task quickly to an acceptable standard with limited supervision, Good at communicating with management on a daily basis what their needs are and what progress they have made, and with stakeholders and identifying opportunities, Able to use MS Excel and Office 365 (eg: MS Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint...), and internet based tools like monday.com, Practically skilled (basic DIY level is fine). IE: can install hot water cylinder wraps and pipe lagging, smoke alarms, change lightbulbs to LEDs, etc, Timely at reporting and paperwork (needs to be updated daily),Based somewhere in the Greater Auckland area and able to travel where needed throughout this area with own transport and driver's license, Available during school hours, with occasional requirement for weekend work and/ or longer hours for events, etc. They will be required to attend meetings and site visits in person on an as required basis.
