Parts Specialist

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Parts Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing parts orders, stock levels, and helping with sales of automotive or machinery parts. You’ll need to be organised, good with systems, and confident in dealing with suppliers and customers. Main Duties * Order and source parts based on what’s needed in the workshop or by customers. * Keep track of stock levels and update inventory records. * Help customers or staff find the correct parts. * Receive, label, and store parts in an organised way. * Process returns and warranty claims when needed. * Update product listings on Shopify if required.

Training can be provided for the right person and opportunity to grow into a senior role over time. This will start as a 6month contract and there is an opportunity for it to be made permenant after the 6 months.

* At least 1 year of experience in a parts, mechanical, or automotive role. * Good knowledge of vehicle or machinery parts. * Confident using a computer – experience with Shopify is a bonus. * Can work independently and keep things organised. * Good communication and attention to detail. * Must have reliable transport and a Restricted or Full NZ driver’s licence is preferred.
