Employer is seeking a dedicated and motivated Engineering Trade Assistant to join their dynamic team. This role offers hands-on experience in a workshop environment, providing support to their skilled engineers and fabricators. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in engineering and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities: • Assist in the fabrication and assembly of metal components. • Operate and maintain workshop machinery and tools. • Support engineers in the installation and repair of equipment. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Skills & Qualifications: • Strong interest in mechanical engineering. • Ability to work effectively in a team. • Good communication and problem-solving skills. • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required.
Job Requirements
• Restricted Drivers License • Pass a Criminal conviction check • Have strong attention to detail and precision • Pride in your work and be willing to continue learning • Excellent communication skills with clients and coworkers • Reliable and self motivated • Safety conscious at all times
